W4 Youth – Est. 2009
Together we learn,
we grow and we thrive
Join us in creating a community where every child
has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Together, we can make a difference!

Our Story
W4 Youth was born from a heart breaking experience when our founder’s son, then in Year 8, was shot in the face by someone he didn’t even know.
He was on his way to collect his friend’s football kit from his house after school one Friday evening in January 2009. He survived and chose to take that painful moment and mould it into a beacon of hope. With his encouragement, his mother started W4 Youth to provide a safe and positive space for young people in the area.
Our mission has always been to offer a welcoming and safe place where young people can find support, engage in meaningful activities and build connections to learn, to grow and to thrive to reach their full potential. Everything we offer is completely free because we believe every young person deserves this opportunity.
We’re excited about our vision for the future—a community centre in Southfield Recreation Ground, designed for the young people of W4 Youth and the wider community, bringing everyone together for good.
This vision is becoming a reality through a partnership with Ealing Council and Rock’s Lane Sports Trust, with plans to develop the community centre by 2026.

Our Activities
Football
Football is at the heart of W4 Youth. We have girls and boys football training Tuesday to Thursday and host a Friday Night 5s league in association with Rocks Lane, Chiswick, every Friday evening. We are always looking for players to join our teams.
Street Dance
Since we started W4 Youth Street Dance has been a way of young people expressing themselves through music. Our Dance is led by the dance leaders from ‘Ghost Dance’ a UK award winning dance troupe.
Musical Theatre
Young people can really express themselves through singing and drama and Musical Theatre is a great combination of the two. A really fun activity.
Sports coaching
From Boxercise, basketball, table tennis and many other sports, our coaches are always ready to do something new with the young people of W4 Youth.
Support & guidance
All of our coaches are qualified to give the necessary intervention when our young people need our support and guidance in any aspect of their lives.
Train the Trainer
We support our young people through our train the trainer programme. Giving them skills to improve their employability and the opportunity to work for us or other organisations.
